A Radical Calling

Such a beautiful class this morning!  Here is the poem I read at the start – gratitude to the author whose name I unfortunately did not record when I copied the poem a year or so ago.

In these tumultuous and transformative times, grace is always with us whether we perceive it or not.  You, in your wholeness, are exactly what the world needs right now.    To heal, to embrace and bring forth your gifts, to become all that you came here to be — this is what is being asked of each of us.

To follow the path of truth, love and forgiveness, even when there is fear; to meet every moment – the bitter as well as the sweet – with gratitude for the opportunity it presents; to open your heart to yourself, even when it seems impossible:  this is a radical calling.  This is both the blessing and the challenge offered to all of us now, to explore the space where grace and courage meet, where limits dissolve, where love’s deep longing to know and fully live itself – as YOU – awaits.
